Our Hindu scriptures are of full of quotes (Subhashita) which have stood the test of times. Here we are making an attempt to bring to readers, quotes from our ancient scriptures such as Ramayana, Mahabharata, Bhagavad-Gita and many others which are at least 2000 years old. The quotes collected here were appropriate and relevant 2000 years ago and moreover are appropriate and relevant even today and we believe they will be appropriate and relevant even 2000 years from now. These quotes picked randomly from our database, will be displayed on this site. We feel that following them will help us lead a quality and fulfilling life. The quotes will appear in original text in Samskrata, then in English followed by Kannada with meaning both in English and Kannada. Click here to view a sample of one such quote.
